Day 38; Rest day in Plymouth

Updated: Jul 31, 2022

Here are some photos from my trip down memory land and our rest day wandering the streets of Plymouth.

The SW coastal path circumnavigates the seafront and harbours of Plymouth, however as I grew up in nearby Tavistock I couldn’t resist a look to see how the city has changed!

We used to come shopping here, with a bribe of a visit to the hoe. Sadly our best treat the trampolines have long since gone! Much else is the same, except the Elizabethan house has had a makeover and all the old ships have departed; I used to love clambering over the golden hind replica. The adult meal enjoyed the new Box museum, with the added benefit it was inside and dry!
